New SCCA Trans Am 2 Mustang under construction
A look at the build of a new TA 2 Mustang for Daytona Beach racer Bobby Kennedy. A Howe chassis was acquired and is being assembled in Deland, Fl by Bemco Fabrication. The car will have an all aluminum SBF (Dart Block & heads). Jerico Nascar type 4 speed tranny, Penske shocks, Wilwood 6 piston calipers in front and 4 piston in rear. About 2800# with driver and 500 plus HP.
Hoping to make the Sebring opener next week, but still waiting on the motor.
The car is pretty much complete now as a roller.
The car will look pretty much as pictured, in fact we ended up with this body and installed it on a new chassis. Now painted the Ford Grabber blue.

Great to see and hear! Keep us posted! It was almost a year to the day when we posted about that car last year!
