Last month's GA Cup race from Mid-Ohio will finally be shown tomorrow at noon eastern on Speed TV. Ironically, I'll have to record it for later because I'll be at Mid-O helping get things set up for the Runoffs.

Good luck at the Runoffs, Dan!

I'm going to Champion Ford to watch the race. They're having a BBQ/Cruise-In with their car in the showroom. Then it's football time!!

Dan, I may have to beg a copy of the race off you, lol. I'm "stuck" in Vegas this weekend, and couldn't find a tv w/ speed channel today

I'll try to keep it on the DVR for a while, and if you need a VHS copy, PM me with an address and I'll send you one.

Dan, do you know of any easy way to get a program off of your DVR and onto your PC?

Brad, I've been trying to figure out a way to pull stuff off of a DVR myself . . . I normally just use the video card on my desktop at home to record the races, but seeing as how I've been out west travelling since the Phoenix race, I didn't get a chance to set it up

Dan, I appreciate that, I may take you up on it . . . give me a bit to ensure none of my local buddies taped it at home though.

Probably the easiest way to capture vid from the DVR to your computer is through a video capture card or device in your PC. Most have s-video and RCA inputs so you could hook the DVR straight into it. Hope you have enough hard disk space though.

Brad, i'll research it some and see what we can figure out for your home setup. Would be a great thing to do for the site.

I've got a video card that takes RCA jacks, but I'm impatient.

yeah, I'd rather be able to do a direct digital transfer, rather than a digitial-->analog-->digital path.

Man, that was a tough race to watch. Wrecks, 5 minute time penalties, and a lot of BMW rear-kissing. I hope the next race is better for the Mustangs.

Champion Ford stated that the Mustangs have had over 300lbs of ballast added since the first race. The BMW's have only had 25lbs added.

It's been an up hill battle for the Mustang teams.

Brian has the '03/'04 Cobra received the same weight penalties as the '05's?

Evil_Capri, the SN95's have not had weight adjustments, however, the engine allowed in htem makes much less power than the 05, and we already started out with the 3.55 gear, we never had the option of a 4.10 like the 05 did early on.
