Just letting them over-build their confidence in order to dash their kraut eating hearts in the end!

The Boss Teams would probably place higher just from moral/crowd support but, unfortunately, 60% of the Boss fans are at home watching this and every other Boss site gossiping, chewing their nails, and flagellating themselves about the movement of their cars from the ashtray station on the assembly line to the cup holder station last Tuesday.

Besides the previous post, the cars are actully quite equal on paper. I think the Mustang is going through some teething issues and some bad luck so far this year. The M3s seem to be better sorted and you have Bill Auberlien driving along with some other veteran drivers. Although the Mustang teams are very good. I wish I could get speedvision to see some of these races. I only get to see parts of them.

eh, I can sorta support Turner Motorsports, but I just can't get behind a BMW based team.

Hopefully Barber ends the suffering of the Boss 302R teams.

From everything i've seen on TV, the BMW pro drivers are much more courteous

Except for when Joey Hand dive-bombed and t-boned race leader Billy Johnson in 2010.

I support TurnerMotorsports as well. First class outfit and they actually have a good aftermarket shop as well. They buy the M3s used off a car lot and turn them into these GrandAm cars. Doug Turner is very knowledgeable and I have talked to him several times regarding parts for my car when he's not at a race. Now with the GrandAm season started he can be difficult to get ahold of.

I am torn between the Ford camp and the BMW camp. I love Fords but I currently drive an M3....

Bill Auberlien is an excellent driver along with Joey Hand. Also, Boris Said who used to drive for Ford back in the days is putting his time as well driving for BMW as well now I believe.

The Boss will get some wins..like I said. I think its more of a teething issue.

Auberlen really stomped the competition in that race...sounds like Turner got some good data and experience from running the M3GT in the Rolex race earlier in the weekend though.
Good for them, it's gotta be nice to have double the testing and data!

Although I drive an M3 now, as I said I love Mustangs. I hope it isn't going to be a lopsided year with the BMWs taking it all.

It's OK, everyone makes mistakes! Albeit some are bigger (and more expensive!) than others.
