Congrats! Don't waste your money on Zaino, sure it looks good, but $80 worth? Pfff.

Congrats John!

I only paid $70 for my Zaino kit, so I guess I got a deal!

Meguiars is good stuff. I like the NXT paste with a PC. I also use the tire shine and speed detailer, as well as water magnet. I used to use Zaino, but have switched to Menzerna polishes and Meguiars stuff and like it.

Zaino is great, but it's hyped up a bit IMO and I do not like not being able to apply with a PC.

Funny you ask, I entered the contest on the Meguiar's website then forgot about it. They sent me an email about 2 weeks after the drawing saying "You won...what's your home address?" Here's the link announcing the winners:

I hang out there from time to time...pretty good detailing tips. They also offer detail classes at their main office in Irvine.

Congratulations, John. I've only started using NXT and I must say that Meguiar's rules.

BTW, TexaStang, which Menzerna product(s) do you use? Show us some pics of your finish.

And I couldn't agree more about Zaino being overhyped, especially when some smug Zaino user tells a fellow Mustang owner to buy Zaino with his well-deserved prize money.

Uh oh.. Again, Mr. Areaseven must express his hatred for Zaino.

I switched to Turtle Wax

(BTW, arguing about wax/polish is like arguing about which cut of steak you prefer, as long as you're happy with it that's all that matters to me)

Agreed 100%

I never say anything bad about other waxes/polishes that people use, heck I've used Meguiar's for years on my other Mustangs (and still do on my truck and wife's 4Runner). I only express how pleased I am with my current choice of polish.

But hey, it's all good with me.

by the way, congrats on the win. I find it hard enough to keep my car clean, let alone detailed enough to win a prize like that
