Fuggedabout Winter. I very much dislike wintertime.

My cars tend to look like hades from around November to March or so...I ain't getting cold keeping them clean.

Could not even imagine waking up to a frozen over mess every day for six months.

I was new to the winter areas. I lived in Virginia Beach for most of my life. So I learned alot about winters real quick. For instance, make sure there is no melted snow/water on your floor mat when you park over night. It will freeze and there will be an ice rink in front of your seat in the morning.

If I had my '05, it would be driven all winter, but then again, I'm in Phoenix. My '66 runs year round, and it comes out when it rains. The Mustang was meant to be run, not caged away.

I rode my motorcycle throughout last winter, and I'm planning on doing the same this year. Mornings are cold (low 40's), especially at 75 with no windshield!

Hopefully by next winter I'll be cruising in my new 'stang.

I'm in michigan and I will be storing mine in the winter. That is another reason why I'm waiting for spring to buy my new stang. I want that new car smell when it's 80 degrees out! After that I'll put it away in the winter but only because I plan on keeping mine.

i could see how canadian winters would stink for mustangs but snowboarding makes thos cold winters all worth it

 

If mine ever leaves the yard in Flat Rock and gets to it's new home in western PA. I plan on driving it as much as possible. My old Dodge 4x4 will be ready when the roads are nasty, but if the roads are clear look out.

 

I'm in NYC right now and I plan on keeping my baby safe from the crazy drivers. Most Newyorkers can't drive when it rains. So, sunny days and dry roads will be the only time when I bring her out this winter. As for the rest of the time my Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 (with cow catcher) will take me where I need to go.

We have no problem with people moving down here, we even learned to vote again to increase our popularity.

 

Well not all of us have the luxury of owning multiple cars so its either public transportation or braving the weather and such in a black mustang susceptable to scratches and swirls. I am just going to have to stink it up and prepare myself for multiple cleaning sessions. The price you pay to bust out the black!

Wash it in your neighbor's driveway.

I'll be driving mine year round. I bought it to drive and if it rusts, I'll get another one. I've never had a car more than five years anyway.

Yeah.. they like the salt up here...

what drives me nuts is they drop a ton of it even for a light snow.

I will rustproof it as well.. .i'll buy the most expensive stuff I can and do it myself.

 

My car will be parked before the first snow in Wisconsin and will not come out until the road salt is washed off by April and May rains.....

Winter stinks for nice cars....

 

I've got a 10-year old Jeep Wrangler for winter driving. Next spring, it'll be the 'Stang, which I'll drive until the first snowfall, usually in December, then its into the garage, except for those rare, mid-winter days in Michigan, where the sun actually comes out for 45 minutes. Rear-wheel drive cars and snow don't work well unless snow tires are involved. I'd rather keep the car clean and drive an old beater during the winter.
