We have a product here that is called "Back to Black", Try your local Automotive store, I would be very suprised if they do not have it as it is made in the States.

Turtle wax makes this tire gel that comes with a nice sponge applicator. It works great and stays on quite a while. I let it set on the tires for about 10min, then rub over them with a rag to clean the excess off.

I dont use the mothers Back to Black on tires, use that on all the black trim panels

I use BlackMagic Tire gel it works great and last a very long time even when going through puddles (not that you would) or even if you try to wash it off it's not as shiny but is like in the old days when we use to use armorall  . The only thing that makes me mad is when it's a windy day and it blows dust on them. I would go with a gel over a spray anyday.

Scot,

Don't you have two different types? one for the trim panels and a seperate can for the tires?

What to use to "shine tires?" Well, quite frankly - nothing. Tires are rubber and not supposed to shine! As you probably already know - products like AmorAll are "addictive" and will actually dry out your tires. I use Wesley's and Comet and a good stiff nylon brush. My tires turn out as black as pitch and have the natural matte finish that tires should. Nothing looks better - and my tires won't prematurely dry-rot!

Unless your car sits in a garage for 10+ years, I dont think dry rot due to shine additives is going to cause a problem. heck I have a hard time keeping tread on mine

I know I'm late to this thread, but I'd recommend Meguiar's Natural Shine and Rubber protectant. It's an inexpensive spray that actually cleans the tire. I had used other stuff before, but over time they caused the tire to collect alot of dirt. The Natural Shine gets the dirt off; it even cleans white lettering. It may not be as crazy shiny as some other products, but it def. makes the tires look brand new. Best of luck. Link

I use two coats of Black Magic Tire Wet Gel per tire. Love the glossy look on my Pirelli P-Zero Neros.
