The high end zymol stuff, not the zymol you can get at Target.
I don't know if there is a difference in the two though...

So how can you get this high end Zymol stuff and is it better than Zaino?

So what do I use to get that "Car Show" shine??? And is it a good idea to get one of those polishing machines. I saw the Porter Cable 7424 and was wondering if it made a difference?? If that's so, then what pads do what and what procedure should I use to go about getting that shine that my neighbors and friends would envy?

PC polisher
Their system is well designed, but, expensive. Expect to wrap a few hundred dollars into the buffer, polishes, pads, clay bars, etc. You will, however, be pleased with the results. If there are a lot of swirls, it will take a fair amount of work to get them out, but, they will be out and not just covered up by the wax.
The best way to get rid of swirls is to prevent in the first place. They are caused by grime in the paint when you polish, wax, dry, wash, etc. USE A CLAY BAR. It is designed to remove the grime before you rub it into your paint.
Do not buy a direct drive polisher (random orbital only). They cause a great deal of swirling. A lot of detail shops use these and cover up the swirls with wax. After a few washings, the swirls return.
I used my Griot's Polisher last week on my 6 year old truck. I polished twice with fine polish. I think it would do even better with medium polish, but, I wanted to be conservative. Then I waxed with the best of show wax with the polisher. IT looks brand new. The paint is shinier than it was new. It is really bright and reflective. It was easy to apply that way.
Never heard of it or Zaino and I detailed alot. I use Meguires, great stuff and if you have plenty of time to work on your car, it looks fantastic. The synthetic line should be interesting to see when I get back to the states. I'd like to hear reviews....it's got ads in all the magazines the last couple of months.
I used to use all meguires and/or mothers. They make nice stuff.
i got a catalog in the mail from Griot's out of the blue. I was impressed. I tried it, I am even more impressed. Since I started using their stuff, I have started to notice it frequently at car shows. Check it out.
Griot's Garage.
I have not tried Zaino Brothers yet. Sounds like good stuff from what people write on here.

ive been using meguires nxt wax on my cars with their spray detailer in betwwen wax jobs. I used the detailer on my 98 about twice a week and that car was like silk nothing would stick to it make it so easy to clean. I swear by it.
From another post of mine ...
Tried the NXT wax this weekend .... Stuff is OK. My thoughts are this.
Pros:
1. Car wash is very good. Cleans car very well without a ton of suds, rinses easily.
2. Wax goes on pretty easy. It is quick. Wipe on, let dry, wipe off.
2. Wax and wash are more reasonable on the wallet than say Zaino
Cons:
1. No cons on the car wash except so far it is only available direct from Megs in my town. No retailers carry it.
2. Wax- Cannot be put on in the sun or even if car is remotely hot/warm to touch (Zaino goes on/off in all instances)
Wax - do not get on any rubber or plastic parts. Turns them white immediately. Impoosible not to do this with the amount of black "plastic" on todays cars. (Zaino does not do this at all)
3. Tire dressing - you waste a lot. You trigger spray it on and wipe most of it off. Directions specifically say you must wipe off excess because yuo do not want excess on any plastic parts. Again, there is a ton of plastic around the wheel wells of most newer vehicles. Leaves bad spotting. Megs has a great product called Hotshine that is an aresol that has an adjustable nozzle. It works perfect.
I was initially intrigued by the ads I saw and I like to try new stuff on my vehicle to make sure I have the best. Yet I was turned off because of all the "warnings" associated with using this product. Zaino may cost a few $$ more, yet you do not have to worry about all the little things mentioned above.
The best combination I have come across for weekly maintenance duties is this:
Megs NXT wash
Zaino
Megs Hotshine tire dressing
Mothers chrome polish
Mothers stainless steel cleaner/polish
