Strictly Meguirs Gold Class paste wax// not the liquid. I have used about everything and Mothers Carnuba is pretty good but I would give the edge to Meguirs for a higher shine ------------

I have a question. What about going to a high end dealer like Porsche or BMW and asking what they use to detail their cars? I'd figure they use the good stuff

Hmmm, I'm going to be getting the Mach out, and I'm thinking on getting some Zaino. Any links to a good price on it?

If you want a fast and easy shine, Eagle One make a wax you spray on your car as you dry it. It has worked great for me. I have always don't wax the old fashioned way, by hand, but once I used this, I have not gone back. It is in a red spray bottle and it is worth a try.

I plan on using Deep Crystal 3 step process on my Black Mustang this weekend. I'll let you know how it looks versus the regular Maguirs Gold, which I have been using. B)

38special, you'll like the deep crystal setup. Especially the way the car looks after you apply the 2nd step

The high end zymol stuff, not the zymol you can get at Target.

I don't know if there is a difference in the two though...

There is a major difference. The low end stuff you get at wal-mart is acctually made by Turtle Wax for Zymol. It is a way for Zymol to get their name out to the masses with a decent product for the lower end crowd. Also looks better on their numbers the more people that use their "name".

I think one of the most important things, regardless of which brand you use, is to go with a product that has multiple steps from polishing, swirl remover, and waxing, all from the same company. The same goes for leather, plastic, vinyl, etc. I really urge people to use separate cleaners and conditioners for these products.

I washed the car today at 8am! :worship:
I used the 3 step deep crystal stuff on the top portians of the car and the rear. :worship:
I will wash the sides of the car again tomorrow and 3 step them as well. :worship:

It looks good B)

I took some photos and will convert them to images soon and post them for this forum.

Why does my car get more attention than my girlfriend?

My car's nickname is the :worship: Mistress :worship: because she is, and always will be the other woman in my life until I decide to toss her aside for someone better

I've zaino'd at 35* F before. Took about 3 hours for each coat to dry, but I got lots of detailing word done on the car while I waited.
