This is a 740 I did this weekend, this car was really messed up and really needed a new paint job and much much more, but I gave it a shot and not bad IMO for a late 90s Black BMW that really needed some loving. (Again not my best work but both myself and the owner were very pleased, I will be attacking it again in a couple of weeks to see if we can get it even better.)
BEFORE:

AFTER:

NOW FOR SOME DETAILS:
The headlights were really faded and hazed

I worked and worked and brought back most of the clarity and got rid of the haze, but unfortunately the inside of the lenses have been yellowed and still look aged, also notice the major pits and chips in the paint.

The paint was badly swirled

but after some work

all of the black plastic trim, including the running boards and door handles were really faded and heavily scratched and the painted part of the door handle had peeling and missing paint (burned through)

again with some patience I was able to restore the color, unfortunately in the following pic it looks like the door handle is badly scratched it doesnt look like that in person, it is a much better finish then before and looks more like the second pic

Wow I'd be interested in having you detail my car. How much? What products do you use? And how in advance do you need notice?

Jeez, where do you live? I'd pay you to do my car if the price was right. Awesome results!

Nice work. I wish that you lived closer to the East Coast. What is your technique for removing the swirl marks? Scratch X?
