Angry Stupid Bugs, Advice??

I hate bugs, and it really sucks because I do a lot of driving at night on a country road. After a week the front of my BLUE mustang turns BROWN with dead bugs splattered all over it. I made a mistake and didn't clean them off for about 2 weeks because I was so busy I didn't have time to wash it every other day.

Question is this: I tried some bug and tar remover (from turtle wax I think) and it worked ok, but there are quite a few bugs/stains that I just can NOT get off. Any other products/ideas that I can use? I'm wondering if I accidently waxed over some of them since last time I waxed was getting pretty dark outside and I may not have seen them on there. HELP!!

Wash the car with Dawn and give it a clay bar treatment. It should remove the bug marks.

After cleaning off the bug splat, then apply a few coats of wax to the front of the car where the bugs splat. It will make it easier to remove them in the future.

WD-40 might help melt the bug guts

Another tip i've read on other forums is to spray the front end with silicone spray before going on a trip like that. I don't believe the silicone will damage the paint. The bug guts should just wash off after that.

clay bar works well.

Use Rain-X Bug and Tar Guard after you've washed and waxed.
