Suggestions for underhood clean up after paint work
Suggestions for underhood clean up after paint work
So I get my car back from the painter after the new hood/fenders were blended and the under hood area is total mess
. It has tons of hard water spots from his otherwise super hard water along with caked on remenants of bodywork dust in all kinds of small places.
Since this is not my DD, it has never been this dirty under the hood... so looking for suggestions on the best way and or product to make this tedious task a bit easier.

Same thing happened to me. I used a lot of soap, water, elbow grease, clay bar, and sweat, and it still isn't as nice as when it went in. There are a lot of places you just can't reach. Good luck.

Yeah, that's kind of what I thought. I may need to find some small brushes like the ones used for cleaning an engine to get into the tight areas next to the hinges (which is one of the worse areas).
