I agree. There's only so many touch-up spots I can handle before a repaint is necessary.

In less than 2 months I have two on the hood and one on the rear quarter.
I went in for a stripe replacement and decided to have the dealer body shop fix the one chip I had at the time. They had no touch up paint in stock so they had some mixed from a paint store which looks to be a nice match. All they did was barely put enuff in the chip to cover the bottom of the hole. The hole is still there, but at least it's red. For a $38 charge, I was dissapointed. I expected they would do something like the Langka system. I guess I was wrong.
I have since ordered a clear bra and it is due in today. Hopefully that will help. I'll post an update once I get it installed if anyone is interested.

That's about $35.00 too much imo. I know that there are detail shops and painless dent removal guys that do a professional level touch-up. But I think you'd probably pay around $50.00/spot.

I wish they were more towards the center and not towards the side. Then I would consider a stripe to hide them!
Then again, if I already have 3 in only 1600 miles, i'm sure there will be more since the driving season has only just begun!
