Car Capsule

Car Capsule

I'm looking for a way to keep the cats and dust off my car while it is parked in my barn. The problem with my Shelby car cover is that I have to have a clean car to put it on. If I want to park it before I wash it I can't currently cover it...

So I have found the Car Capsule. I think it would be the best solution for me. Here is a link. http://www.carcapsule.com/CarCapsule_Ordering_Page.htm

I'm just about to buy one but I'm looking for any and all input first. Any experience with a Car Capsule, Pros, cons, satisfaction?

Thanks

Looks interesting.
It will definitely keep that cats off it better than anything.
Wouldn't it be cheaper to get rid of the cats and let the car get dusty while it is already dirty?

+1, You could buy a gun and ammunition to shoot the cats with cheaper than one of those things, Plus you get to work on your aim at the same time and save garage space...Plus, Who's to say the cats would'nt poke a hole in that bubble trying to jump on top of it....Just shoot the cats and be done with it!!

If it were possible to shoot all of the rodents the cats kill the ones that I never see, I might consider it.... The cats have a job here and they do it well, better than I do, they stay.

The request was for information about Car Capsule, not the cats, does anyone have any input or experience with that?

Looks cool and isn't too expensive. My main concern would be the puncture holes left from the cat claws.

If you get that car capsule, let me know how it does. I think I could use one myself.

I hear you on the cats. One of the work locations I go to has hundreds of cats. I have yet to see a rat/rodent, etc. They are great mousers. The jackals keep the cat population down.

I actually went and looked at a local Corvette sellers car capsule, and talked to her about it. She loved it, and would buy one again. She bought hers to keep the rodents out of the Vet, she had had rodents destroy the car she had before the Vet. The car capsule had worked well for 2 years for her.

My problem is she was the ONLY person I have ever talked to who has had one. I would like to hear from more people if I could before I get one.

The wifes Gt/CS sits in our garage for weeks at a time between shows, 2 car garage, one bay not used except for her car.

The neighbors cat was a problem, untill it got "caught" in a 5 gallon plastic bucket, lid snapped on and then rolled up and down the driveway for a little while, 3 beers and a couple of smokes later, the cat got turned loose,
in the neighbors back yard.

WE HAVE NOT SEEN THE CAT ON OUR PROPERTY SINCE.

Ive seen these, I saw a Ford GT in one of them, so that should tell you that they're atleast good. My only concern would be that the cats might claw into the plastic

Concerning the "capsule" , Go For It if it does not break the bank.

Have had one in the past on a Muscle Car that we owned, however,, they can will deteriate and not hold up after a few years if expossed to Sunlight and "rough" handling, such as excessive speed when backing out of it.

Jill, do you want to comment on this, hummm?, or would rather forget the fit I threw.
