I have followed to the letter the recommended application of Zaino to my trusty GT vert. I do my Z2 then Z6, have the correct towels with the edges removed, yadda yadda yadda.
When I am finished, it looks like my car drove through a cotton field at 150 mph. The static electricity build up during the cleaning process makes every bit of towel lint, any dust in the air, residue from the Zaino, etc. stick to the car like glue! I tried the California Car Duster, which works to remove most of it, but some just ends up in the nooks an crannies and looks terrible. Also, right after every drive, I notice a sheen of dust all over the car. When I get close to it, or bruch a hand across it, you can feel the static.
Any way to avoid all of this static build up?

Are there people out there that actually use Zaino and then wax? That is quite a process to go through, especially since Zaino recommends that all wax be removed before using their product.
I do use Z6 after every application of Z2, but all it does is push everything around that has managed to gather on the car since the buffing of the Z2. I guess I will resign myself to the fact that I am driving a lightning rod all of the time, and set aside enough time to remove dust with a damp cloth and the California Car Duster.
By the way, it's a Torch Red GT Vert.

I would guess that might help....My towels sit for weeks prior to my using them, I have yet to have a static problem with my Zaino applications....

You could always drive it though some dust....... problem solved

Ummm...You are taking what he is saying out of context...I do not believe you should ever wax OVER zaino....Go to Zaino's website, and find all of your zaino answers there...
