Rotor Rust
Rotor Rust
So as you can see in the pic below, i have some pretty nasty rust going on on my rear rotors.(new ones up front). Is there a paint that can be applied to get it back to a somewhat like new condition? Maybe engine enamel paint?
Also, is it me or do these brake pads seem a little small? (contact area seems a little short on the outside)

Under normal conditions rotor hats, especially the rear rotor hats don't get that hot. If it did all that would happen is the paint would be damaged.
I usually use whatever I have that's handy in a silver/grey or black. Usually either a high temp paint like an exhaust manifold grey I once used. Think that lasted the longest. I've also used rust stop paints (eastwood stuff, POR15, that sort of thing) on rotor hats, calipers, etc with good results.
The sweep looks typical for stock rear brakes.
