Replace my Zaino with Adams?

I just ran out of my Zaino Z-2 Pro, but I still have some ZFX, Z-6 Detail Spray, Z-10 Leather in a Bottle, and Z-16 Perfect Tire Gloss.

I'm thinking of slowly making the transition over to Adams. Or, should I stay loyal to the Z and just re-order?

Thoughts?

I say just switch to Meguiars which is in stock almost everywhere and works just as good as either of the two mentioned above.

I haven't tried Adams yet so I'd have to say stick with Zaino. I ran out as well and just placed another order.

Leo, sorry man but I have to disagree with you. I used Meguiars for years before switching to Zaino last year and Meguiars doesn't come close to lasting as long. Sure, initially the shine is very close to Zaino (yes, I said close, not the same) but after a few washes you can definitely tell the difference between the 2.

My 2 cents...

I originally had Zaino products (and still use a few of them) and when I got my new car, I was in need, but was low on cash, so I tried the Meguiars NXT and so far, it's worked pretty well... It has lasted quite a while (it still beads up and it's been close to a year) and I drive mine in the rain... Now that Zaino has that AIO product, I was thinking about trying it out, but since the NXT has worked pretty well (and I still have a ton left), it might be a while... I got some of the Adams spray, which I really like and seems to work pretty good as well... I guess I have sort of a miss match of products going, but so far, my car still shines and the water still beads up, so I am happy... And like Leo said, the Meguiars stuff can be found almost anywhere... Worst case, try it out and if you don't like it, you're not out that much cash! And if you do like it, you will have more $$$ for mods!

And if memeory serves, you were pretty gung-ho on Meguiars for a while prior to the switch.

You got that right. Out of using different products for over 20 years I was hooked on Meguiars (complete step process and the NXT stuff). Then I got my hands on Zaino. I hear a lot of people talk about how it is expensive but for how little product you use, and how long it lasts, not only does it look the best (IMO) but in the end it leaves money in my pocket.

Adam's instead of Zaino?

Adams stuff streaks and smears big time.

A little story for you,

At a show about a year ago, I get the sales pitch from the local Adams guy who hands me a small trial bottle of their quick detailer, and says "It'll do a lot better than that stuff" referring to the bottle of Zaino Z6 I had in my hand.

....I didn't have the heart to tell him the bottle was filled with plain ol' water...

Guess I'll just order some more Z-2 Pro. Why mess with something that works, right?

Don't stray from the light my friend, nothing out there outlasts Zaino, and with products like AIO and Clear Seal, the naysayers can't blab on about all the "hard work" Zaino is either!!

Ultima is certainly high quality stuff. I haven't tried it myself, but wouldn't think twice about using it. Ultima is produced by the people that run Autopia, so you know it has to be good.

Bill- I think you should try out some other stuff. Zaino is good, but there's lot of things out there to try. What kind of products were you looking to order...polish, wax, shampoo, leather clean/conditioner, trim dressing..??

Funny, I didn't want to steal the thread. But. Mine just arrived. Will be trying it this week on the Black TBird. If it turns out okay, then the Stang. I'm just to old for Zaino. It would take me a week to recover from the week it takes to use it.
