power wash

With winter slowly approaching Michigan and the salt trucks getting ready. It'll be pretty difficulty to hand wash the car. As i dont like to take my car through the car wash i was thinking just spraying the car down as often as i could to keep salt and other stuff off the car through the winter.

I figured i would just go to the pressure wash place we have by my house and use those but my concern is will it take wax off?

I don't think it will take the wax off.. Do you have a garage where you can use some waterless wash stuff??

sometimes when my car is real dirty I hit it with th powerwash or drive through one of those touchless places and then hit it with the waterless stuff.

I power wash my car weekly at home, but as it is getting cold now in NY I'll be in the same boat as you. The nozzle on my power washer gives a nice mist. Depending on what you will be working with you can just move farther back for less pressure if you are concerned.
