I was not impressed with this either. It actually left streaks on my rims that were not fun to remove. I say pass on this stuff

I have tried it all for over 30 years and the best is Armour All Extreme Tire and Wheel cleaner. It has foaming action that leaches the dirt out of the sidewalls and does a great job dissolving brake dust build up so it's easy to clean. Yes way better than Mequiar's which is what I used to use.

The worst tire and wheel cleaner? Super Clean... It's watered down crap. It does not even clean the tires. I tried it and threw the rest out.

I'm looking into adding Sonax Wheel Cleaner Full Effect to my arsenal. I've tried so much and have gotten the same result as if using soap and water. Even had some that claim their all wheel safe leave marks on painted wheels.

Westley's Bleche White. Find it at your auto store, thank me later. I've never seen a product get so much grime out of tires. You dont want to use it on the wheels, but sidewalls will be so much cleaner!

x2 on the bleach white stuff. I use meg's quick detailer on my chrome rims and I am pretty happy with the results.

X3 for Bleach White just for the tires. That is all I used back in the day when I had a few cars with white lettered tires. It's good on blackwalls too. I still stand by the Armour All Extreme because you can use it on both tires and wheels and get excellent results.

I was going to post a thread asking what everyone uses on their chrome wheels but i see u said meg's quick detailer. Are you satisfied at what it does for the rims? A big problem for me is the brake dust on the two front wheels especially

yes very happy. I spray alot on them and let it set a short while. Spray a microfiber towel and wipe it off. Follow up with a second dry microfiber to finish

I use Sonax on heavily soiled wheels, with my EZ Detail brushes and the Swissvax wheel brush. For a weekly easy clean, I use Meg's APC at 10:1 dilution.
