I seem to have something misted on my paint in spots. You can only see it in full sunlight, but you can surely feel it. I have tried cleaner wax, polishes, etc. and nothing works. Should I take it to a pro for buffing? Try a orbital polisher? Help me out here

Depends on how much time you wanna deal with it vs how much money a detailer will want to get it off. And how much skill you have vs them, to be honest. I know I have some skills, but there are some detailers that just beat me to smithereens.

That said... self fix: Clay bar the car, if you've not done that. If you HAVE, then yeah, pro detailer, you don't wanna burn the paint trying to learn how to do it.

 

I looked at clay bars tonight and was confused by the process. I will have to pick one up. Any tips?

I didn't, I found a good video on Mother's web site.......few things work like you hope, but this sure did.
