Waxed until wee hours of the morning but I will post more pics in good light later. My method:
1. long talks with Marc Harris, the most knowledgeable, and most caring businessman I know. Read his comments and his website folks, AutoLavish.com he's got this **** down to a science. I mean really, he seems to know the characteristics and chemical properties of a vast assortment of products! Thanks for all the consultation, Marc!!!

2. Three bucket wash with grit guards. One solely for wheels. ReTHICKulous wool wash mit. Rinse with sheeting method.
3. Blow dry with leaf blower then pulled waffle microfiber across surface, no pressure. I am amazed how thoroughly this lifts off water!
4. Clay bar. Truthfully I did horizontal surfaces first and it was really clean so I skipped the sides. I did this already last year and it doesn't get driven much.
5. Meguires 205 on Orange pad and PorterCable set to 5.
6. Rinsed and repeat step 3. Just because it sat overnight and had accumulated lots of pollen and falling cotton. Looks like Winterwonderland where I live.
7. Dodo juice Lime Prime with abrasives and gray pad also set to 5. Make sure to wipe off quickly!
8. Dodo juice Supernatural Hybrid sealant/wax applied by hand with red applicator pad.
9. Graciously take the brunt of jokes from wife and neighbors because they think i am coocoo for coco puffs

 

Well done. Looks amazing in pics and sure it looks even better in person.

 

Yea... I'd say that turned out well.

Lol, Thanks Marc. So next time I will have to try 5.5" pads per Mike huh? Didnt realize the 6.5" might be too big.

 

Mike can be a little loony at times. I'm an all 6.5 inch pad guy myself and don't have many issues. On huge super hardcore jobs, sure I have multiple sizes of everything, but that's hardly needed for a car that's kept in the condition of your beautiful Boss.

I will say that the sun's reflection off your white roof was extraordinarily bright to the point there should be some type of warning prior to making eye contact.

Strictly going from my experience with my PCXP, it was woefully underpowered compared to the Griots and Meg's G110. It had a hard time spinning 6.5 pads no matter what I did. Both the 110 and the GG are better in that regard, although others might have better luck with it.


All that aside, that reflection is remarkable! Job well done!
