well over 5 years later and now mileage is up around 85K, the bumper is pitted from salt and rocks from highway driving, but it still is a great to drive. it's no longer my daily driver so i have since been able to put it away for the winter but in the summer it still sits outside.

i've resigned to the fact that until i own a home and have a garage it will need to take the punishment. i figure in the next 2 years i'll have a home, and at some point i will do a major overhaul on the paint. until then i just enjoy the car because i wanted to make sure i held onto it and i've been blessed that i can do that.
