Never again will I use convertible wax on my top

Tried to use a convertible wax on my black top, big mistake!!! I did not read instructions and used it over the whole top and it streaked my top with a white residue. Tried to rinse it off and that did not work either. Ended up buying a lotion called Back to Black and so far it looks like it has worked. Letting it dry overnight and will see tomorrow AM.

use 303, but sparingly or it will streak the windows.

It's called aerospace 303 protectant. I just picked up some. This stuff rocks. Everything this stuff touches looks brand new. My plastic and rubber parts look great, it doesn't feel like anything is on them like that armor all greasy stuff. It's well worth the money.

+1 and doesnt have that nasty Armor all smell. Seems less attractive to dust than Armor all

303 is the same stuff that the mfg's use when making vinyl. I have been using it on my boat seats for a few years and now on my car, great results both inside and on the top.

I find the best stuff for vert tops to be stuff to detail boats, depending on the material they have several cleaners for various marine materials that work great for the tops because they are exposed to the elements.

to be honest I am suprised Back to Black worked on the top, not that its a bad product, its just made to be used on plastics.
