I washed and waxed her with NXT 2.0, then the next day I dusted her and polished her with Ice polish. I did not use the application pad that came with the Ice, instead I used a cotton applicator (Better, IMO). All I can say is this is the BEST it has looked, ever. I do not like the Ice as a wax only, but it is sweet as a polish on top of a good wax.

Isn't wax supposed to go on AFTER polishing? I would think if you polish after waxing you would just be taking off the wax. Polish is to remove impurities and wax is to seal. Someone tell me if I'm wrong. Your car does look great though.

 

Looks really good. I still need to try the NXT stuff myself.

 

I think he meant as a second coat of wax, but you're right, polish comes before wax, it's a term used liberally.

You know, I never paid attention to what comes first, wax or polish. But I should be ok if I was wrong on this application, the Ice is said to be a wax polish, so I guess it acts like a polish and wax. I will try the Ice first then the NXT 2.0 after next clay wash to see if there is a difference. I do know that on my suv the only thing it has on it is the Ice and it does NOT last long, the Mother\'s FX and the NXT last a long time and look sweet!
