Meguiar's Leather Cleaner/Conditioner

Anyone use it? Would it be good for the Mustang leather? If so, how often is it required to keep the leather supple and long-lasting?

Some guys think it leaves a slick residue and don't like it. I apply it then buff. It does a good job.

i actually just used it for the first time. i used the meguiars gold class and it worked great. the smell isnt my favorite but it isnt bad. it doesnt leave that cheap greasy shine to the leather it just gets it looking supple and clean. id take some pictures but the car is at the body shop getting fixed up after getting rear ended. but yea id definetely recommend it. ive heard many good things about the Zaino leather care products but havent gotten a chance to try it but i stand by meguiars all the way.

Thanks. Bought some at Noon. How often do you use it? Is it OK if overspray gets on the plastic parts of the interior?

I bought some of the Black Magic leather conditioner/cleaner. It's almost like hand-lotion and does not leave an oily slick when it dries.

It won't hurt anything, just wipe it off and avoid clear plastic and glass.

Zaino "leather in a bottle" hands down. The best smelling/best working conditioner.

I don't like the Megs leather conditioner. Regular or Gold.

I've been using Lexol on the Mustang. I also like Mothers pretty good. Leather in a bottle is awesome but pricey.

+1 on the Lexol. I like that I can use the Lexol on the day-of a track event and it feels a little sticky but not in a bad way, just enough to keep me planted in the seats. And it looks great too.

I tried the Meg stuff in the pre-moistened towelette package for quick details and hated it. The leather became squeaky. You know, the kind of "squeaky" that can break a first date... "No, that was the seat making noise. It had nothing to do with the double bean burrito..."

Me too. It has been relegated to the storage bin. I use Zymol cleaner and conditioner now and am pretty pleased. It's fairly expensive, but I like the feel and smell of the leather when I'm done.

Lexol is pretty widely used. One of the better over the counter products.

The Maguire’s Gold spray and pop-up wipes have a horrible feeling against your skin and on your clothes. The Maguire’s Gold Cream version of the same is great. Feels like a hand cream basically, and isn't disgusting.

Lexol and Leather CPR in the plastic tub, comes with a Sponge applicator under the lid, works great on car and home leather sitting surfaces.
