I tried the Meguiar's ceramic wax for grins even though it was not cheap. I really don't see a visual difference over the carnauba wax. Maybe the ceramic will last longer but I really don't care about that with the car being garaged all the time. The car still looks fine but is there a difference for the money spent? I realize the lighting is different with the garage door open, and then closed, but the shine is no different to me. I'm going back to carnauba when this bottle runs out. I think it is just another gimmick unless it lasts real well in the elements. Any experiences out there??
Ceramic Can Sometimes Improve the Look of Weathered /Damaged Paint over Conventional Wax! As One Difference I Have Seen In My Trials of it! You Have Very Nice Paint So You have Not Experienced That Aspect.
If you Get a Chance Do a Hood on a Worn / Damaged Paint Job Side By Side. Results Will Vary Depending on Sun Weathered or Just Buffed Too Many times Etc. It Helped on a Hail Damaged Hood I tried it on!
Another Thing to Consider is How Many Washes Does One Last vs The Other Before Reapplication is Required!
aren't pretty much all of these car care products "over-rated" ?
I do have a fairly knowledgeable and reliable friend, who swears the professionally applied ceramic is awesome ... but I am dubious ...
I believe the professionally applied ceramic is different than something 'over the counter' like the Meguiar's I tried out. For the prices they charge, it better be different!!

Speaking to Some of the So Called {Paint & Interiors Treatments} That Some New Car Dealers Push at Time of New Car Purchase and I have Seen what the Actual Product {COSTS} and Gets Billed out as on the Repair Order and Lets Say the Mark Up is Quite Crazy! Let's Say Like Added Dealer Mark Up Crazy! Considering an Hourly Detail Person is Putting it on! So Labor Costs are Not That High!
I'm Speaking Specifically to What I Know. What other Businesses Apply & Sell is Not What I am Commenting On!
Hmmmm. It's been almost 4 months and I tried applying some of the liquid ceramic after I washed the car. It smeared and the GT was definitely not ready for another application. Beads up well still. Maybe it does last longer. I'm slowly changing my tune after this. We'll see on the GT in a few more months, and especially after our vacation in our R/T later this year. See how it does in all types of environments, especially the hot desert sun.
The ceramic waxes should last longer. More protection than carnuba waxes and obviously, longer lasting.
The spray bottle method is great for quick details, not ideal for long term applications.
It looks so beautiful in green. I am now looking for the greatest online casino website that offers a diverse selection of games as well as a safe and pleasurable gaming experience. During my search, I came across a website DELETED SPAM that provides a list of many online casinos to pick from. When perusing the site, I came across SX Vegas Casino, which instantly piqued my interest.
^^^ I always wanted a Sublime Dodge Challenger and when I could finally buy a new one, it wasn't available in Sublime, so I bought Go Mango. Dreams never die so when I found this ultra low mileage Gotta Have It Green I knew it should be mine even though it was 850 miles away..
I've parked next to a Sublime Dodge and the green Ford and Dodge colors are extremely close. I would say my garage is quite colorful.
*** This post here doesn't make any sense now. I was responding to someone who liked the color on my car. Now the post is gone (deleted). Oh well.....

I might as well update this now since the spammer attack.
I like the ceramic stuff after all. My original negativity has been reversed. Almost daily detailing on my R/T during our May vacation proved the longevity part of the equation. I waxed it again when we returned home but it almost did not need it. OK, I'm impressed.
The one on the left is the initial application and the middle to follow up. In-between I got this Mother's detailer and it is fine too. I'm usually partial to these companies and generally they do not disappoint, but even these products are affected by Bidenomics. Ouch!

my own garage is full of maguires products and I use the hybrid wax detailer. Both my current rides are ceramic coated professionally so I just maintain and they work well imo.
btw i've got some beach front property in palm desert for sale
p.s. I too LOVE your GHIG convertible as a very dear friend had the same so i sawr it in person...wow!
Just think how far the wax companies have progressed over the decades. I still remember buying this stuff at K-Mart in the early 70's and waxing my Plymouth.
Yepper, Got Some Turtle Wax on the Shelf! Had it Since I Was A Teen in the 70'S!
Like the Door Edge Guards on the Plymouth!
The 05-09 Mustang Fleet/Rental Cars Actually Offered those for Anybody Who thought They Went Out Much Earlier! I Can't Believe They are Still Selling Them!
Not Mustang related but finished my 22 year old Trans Am Friday and am equally impressed with the ceramics. The Firebird is all 'stock' and original except for the 17" American Racing wheels. Good excuse to go to the bank, the local ballfield and my late neighbor's house (good overhead views).
