I am using English Car Care products from CarPlan.
First I did layering by putting two coats of Auto Finish wax product recommended by British Car Museums and Jaguar and MG owners Clubs. Great product for layering. That was hard part of whole job - apply and then polish . Then on the top I put CarPlan Nanomeric Paintwork Seal & Protect. That is water based product very easly and quickly to apply - whole car about 15min no polishing needed and that should seal the shine for 12 months – but after 6 months I will have to apply the nano seal again as producer recommend.

That is English products but I am pretty sure you have got similar items from your producers available in US. Please only note not all waxes allow to achieve proper 'layering'
