I love you Chemical Guys!!!

Decided to clean Cookie Monster today, and have now switched over 100% to Chemical Guys products... VERY happy with the way my first cleaning came out with their stuff, and I am sure I will get even better results once I mess with them a lot more... I didn't use my Black Light Radiant finish this time around, as I wanted to try my FREE XXX wax they sent me, but I will next time for sure!!! I did use my favorite product of all time of theirs, the hybrid V7 detailing spray... That stuff is absolutely incredible... I highly endorse their products, and will be buying a ton more as I build up my cleaning/detailing section in my garage...

Good to hear. I have been meaning to try some of their stuff and it's a bonus that you also have the best looking color Mustang.

Good products, but horrible customer service.
At least my experience recently.

I place an order mid-day on Saturday, nothing gets shipped till Monday afternoon, but the part that pissed me off was that at 6AM Monday morning I had an e-mail from them advertising free shipping on orders over $50, I call as soon as they open to make sure that my order hadn't shipped yet, and I wanted to add something AND get the free shipping.
They told me they wouldn't do it.
Done with them. A repeat customer should've been treated better than that.
Autogeek.net for me ...

Yeah, for sure buy:

The radiant black light will even work awesome on our blue cars, and the hybrid v7 is absolutely sick as hell... This kit is WELL worth the $48...

Yeah, I agree, they should have at least thrown in a product or something to make up for the shipping... I personally have been treated really well, but I am sorry for your trouble... Their products are awesome though, but sounds to me, they might want to work on their customer service skills... Maybe email their management???

I sent an e-mail before I spoke with somebody.
Got a reply late in the day, "your order's been shipped so we cannot modify it"
I replied saying I had already called and I was upset and never heard back, so I guess they don't care to keep me as a customer.

I've always had great experiences with them. Even got a free bottle of jetseal when I bought my porter cable kit. Prices are marked up so everything's always "on sale" but AM does the same thing.

Yup
I spent $80 including $17 in shipping.
A gallon of clay-bar luber and a bunch of towels.
I was looking to add a $15 bottle of tire gel and get the free shipping on the whole order or maybe split the shipping.
They simply didn't want to do ANYTHING for me.

I'm now using Wolfgang-brand stuff from autogeek.net and I like it.
Just finished the girlfriend's '03 Subaru Forester which has probably never been detailed before.

She looks nice now, especially for an 11-year-old car with 164k on the clock

I buy my CG products from amazon. Free 2 day shipping.

CG does have horrible customer service.

I'm a huge fan of Adams. I think they are a bit overlooked since Autogeek is so popular and they carry EVERYTHING. Lol

But Adams quality I think is top notch. Very few things I'll get from Griots Garage and I also use a few AMMO NYC products.

A friend of mine that does a lot of detailing loves Adams products as well, pretty much all he uses. He has the $800 Zymol and a few thousand dollars' worth of other stuff, but he pretty much just stays with Adams.

I'll have to check them out as well.

The AMMO NYC stuff is pretty awesome from what I have seen, but VERY pricey... But we are taking about products they use to detail Lambos, etc... I have used Amazon as well for my chemical guy products, Free Amazon prime 2 day shipping is great!!! I have used the main chemical guy website as well, as they have really good coupons if you spend the right amounts... I just got a FREE hardcore XXX wax from them for spending $125+...

Yes AMMO is pricey but it's worth it. It's not an every client product for sure. I use Adams for the joe blow 5 series. But for the lambos, r8's, etc I'll use AMMO stuff in combination. I also use some of his tools. Larry is a great guy to boot.
