I have been using Zaino for years on the Mustang.
I washed it with Blue Dawn Dishwashing liquid to strip the Zaino wax and the other wax on the hood and bumper covers that were replaced this winter by the Ford dealership, not sure what wax they used.
I am out of clay bar and zaino zfx.
Also I can't get back to it until Sunday.

1. Will two days of no protection hurt the paint since it has been dawn cleaned?
2. Anyone use Z-2 pro without zfx lately?
3. Can I get a clay bar locally, what is the best for the price, location? ie get mother and pitch the liquid, since I will use Z-6 diluted. Meguairs? 3m?
4. What good product will clean off the MT tire warmup rubber off the rear bumper cover?

 

I also use Zaino. I can say I like the meguires clay bar. I was very fine detailing clay. Haven't used mothers. As far as lube, any of the Detailers will work as long as it's well lubed. Can't speak on the lack of protection for a couple days. I wouldn't bother costing until you are ready to wash and wax immediately after though.

 

Pretty sure you can leave your car sitting in the sun for a few days. Isn't that how ford shipped it

 

You can... but I wouldn't recommend it.

Have any type of spray wax / spray sealant / quick detailer that can give you two days+ of protection? If not - check out Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Wax. It's sold over the counter and is pretty good to use.
