I have tried cleaning the convertible top with soap when I wash it but the top is starting to look a little faded. Anyone have some advice on how to make it look new?

this should help you.. i dont have convt.. but have seen them used by fellow enthusiast at car club/shows. they sure gives you a nice shine n is well protected...

 

RaggTopp cleaner followed by RaggTopp protectant.

 

I just bought the RaggTopp Kit but haven't used it yet. Did the water test and it beaded up well.

 

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant. I doubt that it will 'restore' a faded top, but it will protect it from UV rays.

 

^ you are right...jst checked with fellow club member... they are good protectant.. but wont do any restoration...

 

I do not know how well the other products work but look up Griot's on the web. they have a full line of car care products. They are the only ones I used on both my mustangs. I win at shows and part of the reason are because of these products.

Can you use Turtle Wax Ice on the Top?

 

Are our tops cloth or vinyl?
