Hazzy lights

My stang has that awful hazy film over the lights, I really don't have the cash to spring for brand new ones. So I was wondering if anyone knew any tricks as to getting my headlights back to a nice clear finish. Any products or tricks any one may know of would be very helpful.

I've tried a couple different things that have made them look 100% better on my crown vic...I used a fine grit paint rubbing compound worked well, also I have tried aluminum polish with buffer worked real good. I have heard others that sanded them with fine sandpaper first then buffed them out. Can't really make them any worse....

I've had good luck with this: http://www.autogeek.net/meguiars-pla...light-kit.html

I've also used this one from 3M: http://www.autogeek.net/3m-plastic-care.html

I've been using Meguiar's PLASTX clear plastic cleaner & polish for several years on older cars with great results.

I used Meguiar's Ultimate Compound on a few headlights w/ good results; you can use it on your car's paint too...

Here's a honda I did by HAND.... Results may vary for you as I don't know how bad your lights may be.

Mine are just a little worse than that, I'm going to give it a try, I'm sure it can't hurt. I'll post some pics and let everyone know how it turned out

Ha ha , I went and got the 3M version with the rubbing compound, it comes with a bit to attach to your household drill. I'm actually about tomstart, I'll post some pics of the before and after here in a couple hours.

Talking Done with the headlights

Alright, So it only took me about an hour of time for both headlights. They are 20 times better to me. I guess for $15 bucks and a little hard work i can't really complain. Here are a couple of pics of the before and after..
