Shiaz, opticoat has the purpose of being the final lsp. Meaning, nothing will stick to it, at least long term. That's the downside of Opti... It's permanent and will protect, but doesn't look as wet as other nubas or sealants...

Ok Z, tried out the Blackfire and I love it. Looks great. I love the wet look! Do you get similar results from 4 Star UPP? Also would you suggest doing a final spray on top? I kind of got some small white spots from splash I just buffed them out but I think it would have been easier with some type of final spray. A couple Preliminary photos.

Aj, looks fantastic. 4star and blackfire are very similar. I really think it's a toss up between the two. I've used 4star for years and now am trying blackfire. So far I'm impressed. As for specks, those are probably residue from blackfire wipe off. Which means, you probably used a tad too much. What do you mean by splash??? And you used a buffer to take it off? Remember method of least aggressive first, then work up. Not necessary. Try just mf towel and detail spray... Then work up to more aggressive means

Yea I'm thinking I used to much when I applied it with the buffer. No I didn't use the buffer to take it off. I just used a couple borderless blonde towels from Zaino. I'll keep the detail spray in mind for next time. Not a big fan of wiping on the car with sprays but I'll give it a try.
