Could plasti-dip be used as touch up paint?

Could plasti-dip be used as touch up paint?
For small door dings etc?
I know this may be a noob question but I just heard of this stuff since I've been back perusing the forums. Looks like it could be no problem...

My buddy has a 96 Impala SS in black, and as with most GM products of the 90s, a small paint chip on the drivers door turned into about a 6" by 6" square of missing paint going through a car wash the other day exposing a light gray primer coat beneath.
We used platidip to cover up the spot and it obviously isn't perfect, being flat black against the gloss black of the rest of the car, but when the car is moving you can't tell the difference, nor can you tell from about 25 feet away.
I'll try to take a pic tomorrow at work.

why not use actual touch up paint? if its just small rock chips? get the color code to your car and match it to the touch up paint. Let it dry for about a week or so than do a color sand than buff and see how it turns out.

I have before and it came out pretty good, but it was a little stressful. Was just curious about plasti-dip since its completely reversible you can't really mess it up
