Correction via Rupes
Spent the day detailing this 05 GT. This is the car with the swirls that've been kicking my butt for the last couple of yrs. I started on the trunk lid with my PC, an orange pad, & Menz FG400. After multiple passes I wasn't making much progress. My buddy came over with his Rupes & microfiber pads, & all I can say is I gotta get me one of these! I started using it with the FG400, & the swirls had met their match! We finished it with Menz SF4500, & a coat of Menz PL. Now it looks glassy & wet, & swirl-free!

Don't forget Meg's 100, 101, Extra-cut microfiber disks, exact fit backing plates (buffdaddy.com for those) and a Highline II paint thickness gauge.

I sure feel like I have been! I've not exactly kept up with newer innovations the last few years. Always been kinda old-fashioned I guess. I found what worked for me, & didn't worry about it until I ran into something I couldn't handle. That's what this car was!
