Can anyone recommend a good cleaner/conditioner for the vert top, tried armor-all but it screws up the windows when it rains.

303 Products makes a nice convertible top cleaner and protectant. Used them when the wife had her 87 GT vert. You can buy them direct or thru Summit.

The worst stuff that hits my convertible top is tree sap. I find that mechanics hand soap, of which there are many varieties, works great in removing it. The stuff looks like butter and smells like lemons in the variety that I buy.

This stuff rinses off with the wash and does not linger for later problems.

Doesn't Ford sell vert cleaners at the dealerships?

I am gonna try the 303 and let you know... I'm tired of Armor All running down the glass... not to mention that for some reason after I armor all I get 100's of mosquitos stuck to the top! Must be an atractant or they must think the top is water? Dumn bugs

I used Ragg Topp on my dad's Z3 top. Worked very well. Follow it up with some of the protectant, and water will bead up.
