Clear Bra on Ebay
#2
We had the X-pel system (Bra, Bumper, headlights, foglights, front signal, rocker panels and rear wheel well lip) professionally installed.
Unless you've done something like this before I'd get it done by a pro. We're very pleased with ours; after watching what they go through to get the excellant fit and finsih I know I would't have the patience and would have gotten marginal results.

I've got it installed. I first saw it on ebay, and I would have to say.....don't buy it on ebay. As cheap as it may be....you do not want to install this stuff yourself, unless you are trained to do it. It's not like it is going to ruin your car, because it won't, but they have machines that cut this stuff to your cars spec....and it looks really great if done well. I can barely see mine, and the benefits you get from it...whew!! amazing! No rock chips, bug splatters are eas to clean....
I highly recommend it, and I will be spending the money to get it installed on every new car I buy.
Two points of advice...don't do it yourself, and put it ok as soon as you can to protect your car!

I've got it too. Local VW dealer has a well trained tech who did a wonderful job. I do a lot of highway driving and especially in winter the front takes a beating from sand and road grit. This will hopefully keep the front looking good for years to come.

What would be the negative side to this? I don't plan on selling my car and wonder what the effects would be in say 8-10 years. I see warranties for 5-7 years, but wonder since I'm planning on not selling the car, if it would just be better to re-paint the front when it gets really bad. Thoughts?
