Chrome wheel winter care

What is everyone doing to protect their chrome wheels? My car will be stored in a garage with a car cover, but I am wondering about moisture on the wheels. I have treated them with Poorboys sealant, will that be enough?

short of unmounting them and putting them back in the box you`ve done bout all that you can .. i`ve got fairly new chrome cragars that are already rusting thru .. crappy plating and workmanship cant be hidden ..

Since you are storing your car you have done all you need to do. You really only have to worry if you are exposing the rims to salt and sand. Polished aluminum rims oxidize easily. I just give mine a quick polish before I store the car and they are still fine once I take the cover off (approx 5 months later).
