Car Show Signs

Went to several Car Shows last year and even entered some (2nd place was my best). I was looking at the neat signs some of the car owners have. I found the following link on fleabay and would like your opinion on if this is a good deal or not. All the sign and graphic shops I stopped at reallt didn't want to do just 1 custom sign unless the price was out of this world.

Wow, that's expensive for just a sign at shows. If you are done with mods and think it would really be a nice touch, go for it.

Digital LCD Panel

I'm going to try using a digital LCD panel for the next show. There not that expensive and I have all of that stuff in digital form already. I'll juice it using a spare battery via a AC inverter.

I designed my own sign using MS Word. I emailed the file directly to a sign shop. They printed it out on a decal that attached to a 1/8" thick plastic board. I picked it up 2 days later for $50.

If a forum member was a sign shop person, would there be enough interest for a group buy if folks just had to submit their artwork using MSWord to the signmaker? Going a sterp further, perhaps some forum members could help design the sign. I have zero artistic talent.

So what sort of wax do you use on that sign? Just wondering since this is in the car care section
