To answer my own comment - I tried Meguiars Ultimate and no concerns. Photo is taken with an iPhone at the end of a terrible, overcast day. Looks much better in any other environment, but here it is:

When it comes to waxes and sealants, there are many options and those with many opinions... you have the Zaino Zealots, the Mezerna Minions, the Meguiarans, the Zymolians, the Wolfgang Warriors, the Blackfireites, Duraglossians, the Collinites, the Surf City Gang, the Mother's Lovers and countless others.
Bottom line.. find something you like and stay with it, but don't be afraid to try new things from time to time.
As my Cylon inspired brother and From Z to 5 stated, technique trumps product.

She's in the paddock for winter.. we had a snow squall come through yesterday evening, the state routes in town were heavily salted... even though my comunity only got a mere dusting.

I hate waxing, so I had Xzilon applied to my last two Mustangs with great results. Click here for info.
XEDES... Having never heard of a product, why the brushoff so fast? Did you read up on it or was that more of a comfort thing of knowing products and not knowing this one?
I put that product Brian suggested on our 2010 F-150 Lariat Super Crew and found it to be a good product. And waxing a truck like that takes twice the time it takes a Stang...
I ask for learning, not challenging. I just purchased a 2014 GT Ruby Red last weekend and am debating on what to do...
One Tuesday of this week I stopped by Brian's and switched out some rims and tires. His car of two weeks without a bath, sitting next to mine of three days and no bath... Was eye opening. Mine had three days of road grim and "Truckers dust" from the rainy roads, and looked like it needed a bath badly... Same roads Brian travels BTW... And his car looked like it was washed the night before and driven to dinner and back.
The product he mentioned worked great for bugs, road grime and other bird particles on our truck. Is this not going to be the case on our Stang? It is going to be driven year round. And I want to protect it while making my time between washing to be as long as possible. The few hours a week I have at home has a lot of projects waiting form me

Prep'd and corrected w/ Meg's 105 and Meg's 205.
Car had 70,000 miles on it and was Winter driven all day everyday.
