Swirl marks never come out
Sure they do. Get yourself a UDM or PC, the right polishes and throw in a lot of hours ...

+1 I use 1 mitt for the top panels, another for the bottom panels and another for the wheels and exhaust.

Crazy ?!? Ask my wife, she'll tell ya. I now use a foam gun and a grout sponge
(instead of three wool mitts - just for the paint) to wash the cars. All three are black

i just posted thread over in CAR CARE about how i met and spoke with SAL ZAINO today......

auto car wash is last thing on my mind now......

as for mitts....im not using any....i went to 5 stores today (pep boys, walmart, kmart, target, strauss) evry mitt is made overseas....

SAL ZAINO specifically told me not to wash with anything NOT made in USA...has to be 100 percent cotton....
So i bought large bath sized towels (100% cotto, made USA) and cut the borders off

I would never go through a drive through touchless unless it was a beater. ESPECIALLY with a vert

NO way would i take a vert or a pickup with a tono(s?) cover thought anything like those

and NO way would i ever run through a car wash that uses the spinning brushes.

But i has been through a few touchless car washes. One in Riverton, WY the best ever!!!! and then the one in bonny lake, WA 2nd best ever!!!! and they work very well. I worry about the blowers more then anything(blowing off scoops and such). I just rush through them and hit the interstate

Found a place to buy 100% cotton Made in the USA white towels. The kind Zaino recommends. The web site is americanchairstore.com The towels are made by 1888 Mills.I bought the bath sheets $17.00 each. You have to be carefull buying towels some of them even have bamboo fiber in them, that aught to be really good for the paint.
