I don't have a Ford or Mustang Family, but I married into a GM family. I am the oddball/holdout. It was a tough choice to propose to her, but...

Try as they may, they won't convert me.
No Chris, :bang: you have to convert them!

In my family it all started back in 1949 when my dad got into V8's with a 49 Merc, then a 55 Montclair, 66 Mustang coupe and 69 fastback all bought new. I got to drive the 66 and 69 . My dad give me the 69 and I kept it till 1986. I've always regreted letting the 69 go. In the past years I've been into vettes, 4x4, Z28, Irocs. But it is time of my life to get back into the saddle, getting 05gtstang

Previously I had a '77 Mustang II, a Pinto, stop laughing now, an '88 Mustang LX, a '91 Mustang LX, and a Granada. My mother had a Mustang II,
My wife's family has always had Fords. Currently two '56 wagons, a '67 Fairlane, a '93ish Crown Victoria, and a 2003 Crown Vic. As for us, the sig says it all.

Hubby and I have ten Mustangs - 64.5, 65 (x2), 66 (x2), 67, 68, 70, 97, 01
Son has four - 65, 66 (x2), 86
Daughter has two - 65, 93
Grand daughter's name is Saleen, does that count?

We also have a 1998 Dodge Ram V10 Quad cab and 1971 Chevy 4.4 pickup

We both liked Mustangs as kids when my mother drove a 67 coupe, and his brother had a 66.

Yeah, I guess we are a stang family.

J.

Grandfather: had a '66 fastback long time ago.
Mom: had a Fox in college.
Dad: has an '03 Cobra.
Brother: Has an 89 Fox GT.
Dad/Brother: Have '95 GTS they're going to turn into a race car.

Aside from that we've got two F-150's and a Taurus. My dad had a '76 Trans Am for 26 years until it got so rusty it wasn't safe to drive. And my grandfather had a '70 GTO with a 460ci that got stolen years ago and wrecked trying to bust through a patrol-car roadblock. Killed two of the thieves and put the rest in the hospital permanently.

my dad would have a mustang....almost bought one 2 times:
In 1988, he almost bought a red lx 5.0, but they wouldn't even let him drive it unless he guranteed to buy it...jerks
And in 2001 or 2002, he almost got a Bullitt, but decided to wait till now, when a waaay nicer 1 came out.....we seriously plan to get 1 this time

Mom has a Lincon town car
so does mine!

I wish that I had a Mustang family. Mine is just the opposite. They hate fords with a passion, expecially mustangs. They never did until I got a 88 and it started having major issues and since then they all hate fords. Even though my dad had a f 150 work truck that went for 170,000 miles w/ no major problems. Also my gf's whole family loves gm. Nothing more to say but YES... I am all alone...
