Talking

I was just wondering how many families were like mine.... all we talk about are mustangs and fords...
other people joke around and call us the mustang family...
My mom has a 2003 Gt convertible
My brother has a 1967 gt fastback...
My girlfriend has a 1994 Gt covertable...
My cousin has a 1972 Mach 1...
...I have a 1966 coupe
and the rest of my family has fords....
DAD...1999 f-150 and a 1988 broncoII
uncle 2002 f-150
grandpa....2000 ranger
grandma... taurus...on and on... everyone has a Ford!
----------
its not like we planned it or anything but i was the first i believe to even own a ford
and i guess me talking about them alla the time kinda help in everyone else gett one... anyways i am really interested in how many people have lots of mustangs in their families.....!

MY MOM'S.......

My '73 was my aunt's first car in 1979, and dad bought it in 1982. My wife drove a '98 V6 from 1998-2002, and I have the '01 and '73 now.

I don't have a Ford or Mustang Family, but I married into a GM family. I am the oddball/holdout. It was a tough choice to propose to her, but...

Try as they may, they won't convert me.

That should be easy, I was a GM guy until my first Mustang..which was an impulse buy. And I WILL NEVER GO BACK! Even though I get the family discount on GMs which is a really nice cut.

Stay Strong, and if you ever start to waver I can tell you all my GM vehicle gripes.

Not really. One brother is into motorcycles, but I just found out that my youngest brother has a 6 cylinder Mustang, but he's not a car enthusiast, so I don't think that counts.

How come you don't have more pictures of your 73 Mustang? You always keep same pictures for years now, while you always have new pictures of your 01 GT. Do you drive that car at all?

Nice car by the way.

I'm only one in family that drives Ford and that wants to drive a Ford.

My dad currently drives 1997 Dodge Intrepid when he's off from work. Otherwise, its 2001 Freightliner Century Truck. But in the future he wants Toyota. He had really bad experience with 1992 Ford Escort and since that he doesn't wanna drive Ford.

My mom currently have 1994 Toyota Camry V6 and she's happy with that.

My brother is 13 years old, but once he get his license he wants 1992 Camaro.

Me ... I have 2000 Mustang V6 and I want Lincoln.

when my dad first came to the U.S. 22 years ago, the first 2 cars he owned were a beautiful red 1967 mustang, and a 1978 Cobra II

I have a '93 Ford Ranger and a '97 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC.

My dad has a '98 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC.

My mom used to have a Mercury Grand Marquis, but now has a Camry.

My sister has a Buick Reatta, but is getting a 2005 Ford Escape later this month.

My grandfather owns a '97 F-150, but he and my grandmother are Cadillac people.

My uncle had a F-350, but now has a Ram HEMI Thunder Road.

My girlfriend owns a 2000 Mustang, which I talked her into getting, but that doesn't really count.

My aunt on my dad's side is the top-selling Honda salesperson in a 500-mile radius of Cincinnati, so they all drive Hondas.

But, my immediate family definitely consists of Ford people.

my uncle (moms bro in law) had a earyl 80s stang [given away to our priest when he needed a car] (dunno for sure, they cant remember n they aint got pix), an ealry 80s tboid [wrecked by his son] nd a late 80s probe [gone kapoot]. my aunt (mom's other sister) had a probe. my cousin has a 94 tbird [bought after he broke the udda one]. the rest of my family either has BMWs, Toyotas. Mazdas or Mercedes. i am some way or a nother going to get myself my mustang to show them all what a real gret car is. so i guess we were a ford family for a while, but no more (unless you count the m azdas cuz mazda is owned by ford]

My Family too is a GM family and its sad.... I cant call myself a ford man (maybe ford ownd companies)but I can call meself a Mustang man..... I like Mopar Muscle for its power (ie 68 Hemi Charger and 71 Hemi Cuda) but would still buy a mustang first because of the beauty... Anywho the mustang is the longest lasting muscle car i can think of so yea mustangs first

Cars I love?
98 V8 Vantage
67 Gt500(and no not because of gone in 60 sec)
69 Mach 1
71 Hemi Cuda
65-68 Hard top(not fastback)
00 Cobra R
68 Hemi Charger
05 Gt
Lincoln Aviator and Navigator

And yes in that order too......muscle car is a musle car but only a mustang can last over 40 years
