Yea i deserved it

I was just pulled over in the mustang again!!! This time I really had it coming, going 80/55. But I slowed down to 70, so he gave me that one.

$120 down the tubes and another 50 for the class so my insurance doesn't find out

So stupid

Double that, and that's what I paid for doing 80 in a 65 when everyone was doing 80 SMH

He said I had 3 tickets coming my way,

I had my truck insurance, because their mailing out my stangs card right now, from being in winter months.

Then first speed at 80,
And second speed of 70ish

At least he didn't make the penalty worse.
Regardless that 120 bites!

I didn't see him either, Illinois cops play dirty, they sit off side of roads, near or in corn fields.

This whole past week I've been having that feeling I'm gonna get pulled over, thank The Lord that's over with!

Anyone get that feeling and then days or week or so later it happens?

I'm just saying in general in or near the fields where you can't see em. I know there's no corn, but still the farm field

I was on a long road trip last year and in your part of the country I was amazed at how many state troopers there were. They were on the median, on the shoulders, on the onramps and offramps, even on the overpasses. I saw more than one overpass where there were two cars; one pointing in each direction. I figured they could place the retired cars there without a trooper in them and nobody would ever notice. It would save a lot of money.

Police officer : Do you know what the posted speed limit on this road is?
Jerry : It's got to be 55.
Police officer : That’s right it is . Do you know how fast you were going?
Jerry : A lot faster than that!
Police officer : Step out of the car sir.
Jerry : Okay dokey
Police officer : Can I have your license and registration please?
Jerry : Absolutely . Nikki!
Nikki : Yes.
Jerry : Would you mind bringing the officer the registration?
Nikki : Not at all.
Police officer : I got you on the radar at 93 miles per hour.
Jerry : You must have gotten me when I slowed down to take that curve because for a while there I was doing well over 100.

On interstate 80, the state trooper headquarters is right here,
They have unmarked cars everywhere, that's what got me tonight. Oh and lets not forget the conservation police, they seem be the worst out of all of them.

I still don't 't have a radar detector. That's the first thing I'm getting when I get back to the states. I don't really need one over here. There are enough places for me to go as fast as I want that the slow sections don't bother me much. On the autobahn the slow sections are still 120KPH or 80MPH so it's all good. When it's slow though, it's slow. Like 30K which is around 18 MPH but mostly inside all the small towns. I'm gonna miss this place.

Naples Florida where I live is crawling with cops and Hwy Patrol, I mean absolutely crawling. I havent had 1 ticket (knock on wood) but I also dont blow the speed limit and if it means I get somewhere 5 minutes later than if I speed then so be it, these Mustangs are expensive enough without having to add tickets on top of everything else. But I do know about speeding but as the older you get you will realize to pick and choose your battles.

I've never gotten a speeding ticket in the. 13 years I've owned a Mustang. However, I've had literally dozens of no front license tickets.

My favorite one was when an officer automatically assumed my S281 belonged to anyone but me. He kept asking me over and over "if I was positive that this was my car?"

I finally got snarky with him after a while and said "one of them."

Got one and yeah, it will sniff out police you don't ever see. These cars can be ticket magnets.

I have the 9500, and it didn't save me.

State troopers have instant on radars and that's how he got me. The detector won't pick it up until its too late.
