Green is the right color all day every day. Now the rest of the story rat here

While it seems most people around the world agree that the new Mustang is definitely hot, exactly which color is hottest depends on the country you call home, although there are some familiar trends.

According to consumer data from Ford, while Americans have been opting for the 2015 Mustang in Absolute Black, the top colors vary in other places around the world, as highlighted in a recent MLive.com report.

In China, 35 percent of the orders for the new global Mustang specify Race Red, followed by Oxford White with 20 percent. In Europe, which began selling the Mustang a month ago, there has been a split between Race Red and Absolute Black as the most popular colors.
Race Red and Absolute Black hold the No. 1 and No. 2 spots in each of the five biggest markets in Europe, except for the United Kingdom, where Deep Impact Blue rules the land.

After Absolute Black, the second most popular color for the new Mustang in the U.S. is Magnetic Metallic, followed by Ruby Red.

With Ford looking to sell the new Mustang in 100 markets, it’ll be interesting to see what other colors top the list in the future.

I like the new color, "Guard", but I haven't seen a Mustang in it yet.

I've seen the Fusion, and I think they're using Guard on trucks (man, I wish Ford still made Rangers!) but I haven't seen one. Guard isn't one of those colors that jumps out at you, but I'll bet it doesn't show dirt too bad, either.

When I was at the lot a few weeks ago, they had a Mustang in Guard and it is awesome! Not the best pic (sun was bright that day), but see attached... IF I were to be in the market for a '15, Guard would definitely be the color I'd get!

Agreed. Blew the doors off one just today. Great looking car. Definitely the color I would want if I were in the market. But I'm not.
