Whats happening to me ?

well I guess I deserve it! But I installed my magnaflows street cat backs on my 2015 GT and what a let down.. Not even noticeable over the stock exhaust! 1100 bucks. Others said go flomaster or MBRP their louder. I went to magnaflow and on American muscle they have a sound sample and now I know it was doctored to sell. My car sounds nothing like the sample in AM magnaflow sound bite. Disappointed... Can't even return now since installed.I'll sell them to someone nice price???
A cat back exhaust system is almost never going to give you any sort of noticeable performance increase. You aren't really changing anything except the sound of the car and that's just due to bezels in the mufflers. Also, never buy an exhaust system based on some sound file on the internet. You're playing that sound over a computer speaker and its been converted to digital format. It's never going to sound the way it actually does in reality.

Lease , ????? Pro's con's. Can't add performance stuff but 3 yrs. I can lease ( or buy) new mustang. Ive had 3 and this gt prem. 2015 is by far the best one I have had. Considering the 1970 mach 1 was my 1st. Best but I am in love with this 2015.
One little issue is inbthe mornings my brakes sqeek a little. Then they quit.

The whole warranty thing is debatable....the real reason to skip it is that the payback is very low. A tune with just a drop in dry filter in the stock CAI is your best bang for the buck.

I'm not talking about AirRaid CAI, just a replacement better flowing filter in place of the stock filter in the stock air intake..... no bling involved.
Some go to an oil treated K&N filter, I like the AEM DryFlow filters.
I won't try to tell anyone that aftermarket CAI's, H pipes, Headers and all sorts of things won't boost HP, I just think the only mod with a decent dollars per HP gain is a good tune.

I put a K&N drop in that is replace stock filter works fine but when I removed it all & put in a K& N CAI it ran even better the engine getting more air. Keeping it clean helps. When I got a new hood from ford 7 years later I ran it for 2 days no hood & CAI man o did it ever hall **** the air the engine got it loved it went like a bat out of hell.
