What's this "Gramma" style you speak of? Definitely not familiar with it.

And oh yeah, no sidewall/strut rubbing whatsoever:

The only rubbing, apparently at full-lock to right, in the left front wheel well:

Ordered one of these, for my upcoming T-56 Magnum XL swap.

For $159.95 shipped during their current Labor Day 20% off sale, I didn't wanna wait and pay more later.

dang Gabe... your car is transforming faster than Patrick can recommend mods to people

You're doing a complete tranny swap to T56??? forgive me, but I'm not too well versed on transmissions, other than my MGW

My angel eyes are actually RGB Multicolor, but our COB's are closer to a 5000K

We will have more details about the exact kelvin temperatures once we are done measuring all of our products.

So the one you sent Jeff (mine) is closer to 5000k eh? I couldn't tell with the pics if closer to 6000k. As long as they weren't "police blue"/actual blue...all that matters.

FYI, Jeff is shipping it to me today. I'm stoked. I hope it gets here by Friday. Let me rephrase...with the long holiday weekend, I NEED it to get here by Friday

Install will be done with a buddy, not sure if he'll charge me, but I'm thinking/hoping that it won't be more than $200 either way.

This is the JPC Racing kit that I'm planning on, except the flywheel, I'll most likely end up with a steel unit of stock or close-to-stock weight.

Then hoping to make back $1500-2500 by selling off the MT82, Barton, DSS driveshaft, etc.

I just got off the phone with Jeff. We are pretty excited to see the finished results. Your rings will definitely be a nice white color

Gabe... that looks GREAT! Educate me please.

How does this differ from the Tremec? I always here about the Tremec. Isn't that what is in the 11-14 Shelbies? So how does this "Magnum" compare to the Tremec? Better? Same? Cost advantage?

Also, looking at the link/pic you provided, it looks like it has EVERYthing you need? Clutch too?

Install-wise, I'm assuming this must be done on a lift with heavy equipment, so nothing I could do on my own. Correct?

Nick, I'm expecting a call from Jeff actually, anytime now. From our talk last night he was going to ship around lunch time and get a hold of me then and we'd handle the final cost, invoice, etc. If you talk to him before me, please tell him to ensure shipping arrival by Friday?

thanks sir.

p.s. you KNOW I will take a lot of pics...duh artsy fartsy ones too, for you and for Jeff to post on your sites.

Nice rolling shot! Here's my problem with not being able to do a rolling shot. It's essentially a 3 person affair: driver of the subject car, driver of the photo car, photographer in the photo car

a) I don't trust anyone here to be able to drive my car safely, reliably, while I take the photo.
b) Nobody I know (friends-wise) can take good photos with a DSLR.

So, I'm doomed, unless I make more friends.

You only need two people if you have a rig

We used a rig for this shot

T-56 is a Tremec transmission ya noob. The Magnum means beefed up internals. The Magnum came standard on the first and second gen Vipers (and I believe Z06 Corvettes). Then they switched to the TR-6060 with the GT500, Corvette C6, 3rd gen Viper, Camaro SS and Challenger.

Everyone had their own gear ratios though. I'm not sure what the difference between Magnum and Magnum XL is though.

The T-56 also came in the 03-04 Cobra. Which is where my 03 got its transmission from.
