Today I did:

Step 1 of detailing the engine bay: vacuum and air blast

Also shimmed the rear corner of my hood that was sitting a little low and was thunking on the cowl

Few things today.

I cleaned up the mounting locations of my V3 tritons, using 3M double sided tape. I also zip tied and cleaned up wiring.

Then I did this. Felt good after 3.5 weeks.

I also attached some pics of the amber triton switchbacks. I love these bad boys. I wanted pics in daylight but the back half of the driveway is covered in snow and ice. My tires are not going to touch that. . Better pics maybe next week in the sun, if the sun ever shines.

I'm also upgrading the side marker lights to 5k whites (through amber oem lens cover) to better match the tritons.

She looks good Burton. I bet you had a smile on your face.
I was planning on doing it today, but had to work and when I got home the flurries were already flying.

Picked up my car from the shop, finally got the new hood from Revelaredesign.com installed. About a 2" cowl hood with vents. The vendor sent the vents in carbon fiber and after Carl (Carl's Custom Creations in Clinton Township, MI) test fit them he decided to leave them carbon fiber rather than paint them black because they matched the wheels so well and tied them in.

Can't see them in this picture but Revelare Design set it up so the stock windshield washer squirters are used.

Hey bud, take it right back to the shop. That right side is aligned terribly. That said, the hood looks awesome. They just need to adjust the stoppers!

I had a Trufiber on my old V6. It fit like sh*t and the shop that installed it for me screwed me over. I bought into a group buy at a shop in San Diego, drove down from NorCal to the shop. They were supposed to send me back my old hood. They never did. Stopped responding to my emails and calls etc. I was in college at the time, not like it had time or money to pursue legal action. So I became very fixated on seeing misalignments in body panels

That's really sad to hear. I've heard nothing but good things about the fitment with Trufiber hoods. I'm sure an adequately skilled body shop could get it fixed
