OK poll made, my first time to do a poll so I hope I did it right. Sorry if your color didn't make it, but I looked at responses so far and compared with common colors and historic colors. Now maybe we'll get something more scientific.

This is a very Tough One!
My two-cents: This is a very tough one! Have always loved the original white Mustangs with the dual blue stripes. But remember seeing my very first Mustang when I was a kid. It was a Poppy Red GT 2+2 fastback, with a four on the floor shifter! Oh Wow!! I have loved Mustangs every since that day!! When we got our latest, the CalStang last year. It is white because this was our favorite color offered at that time on a GT/CS! Had Ford offered a GT/CS in their very hot Torch Red, it could be out there in the shop today!! Lastly. We do now really do love the look of our white CalStang and so do a lot of the other Mustang folks we meet at the area car shows!!

1965 colors are, RAVEN BLACK,MIDNIGHT TURQUOISE,HONEY GOLD,DYNASTY GREEN,CASPIAN BLUE, CHAMPAGNE BEIGE, RAGOON RED,SILVER SMOKE GREY,WIMBLEDON WHITE,TROPICAL TURQUOISE, PRAIRE BRONZE,IVY GREEN(EEWWW!) SUNLIGHT YELLOW,VINTAGE BURGUNDY, SILVER BLUE,POPPY RED, AND SPRINGTIME YELLOW. 1966 added colors are, LIGHT BLUE,SAHARA BEIGE,NIGHTMIST BLUE,ANTIQUE BRONZE,BTITTANY BLUE,DARK GREEN METALLIC,CANDYAPPLE RED,TAHOE TURQUOISE,EMBERGLO,MED SAGE METALLIC,SILVER FROST,SIGNALFLARE RED,SPRINGTIME YELLOW. 1966 was the first year of special colors,MED PALOMINO MET.,MED SILVER METALLIC,IVY GREEN METALLIC,TAHOE TURQUOISE METALLIC,MAROON METALLIC,SILVER BLUE METALLIC,SAUTERNE GOLD METALLIC,AND LIGHT BEIGE. 1967 was the first year of the LEGENDARY-LIME GOLD.
Yes those are the colors, but not the production totals.
There was a color used in '66 that was very much like 'legend lime'. Ford may have just changed the name.
