Yes, some of the big numbers are strokers.. But its pretty good none the less.

What exactly was the point you were trying to make my friend? Or are you just now finding the info for yourself?

Some of those numbers are insane, and that is with the 3.8 stroked. So the point I'm making is the 4.0 should also be capable of the same numbers.

Well thats typically what we try to do around here.. When we are allowed, however most of us have seen this info, and it does not pertain to motors directly related to us.. So I was real interested in the point my friend RaginStormLock was trying to make, by choosing to share already known info.. He may be trying to point out something useful.. If so, I would encourage him to add a few more lines, so that we can tie it all in together, so an understanding of his purpose can be seen and understood more easily by passers by..

Its cool, I figured if someone achieved this with a 3.8, then we should be able to do better with our 4.0's.

Yes.. It will be quite some time before we know for sure.. The main theory is the design of our motors as opposed to the 3.8L block.. The cylinder walls and deck of the 3.8L is superior to ours in terms of overall thickness.. So it could be that it is actually a stronger platform overall.. In time, hopefully we can see more SOHC 4.0's over 400RWHP, which are driven dailey at this powerlevel.. It would definately need new pistons of course to lower the compression ratio to allow for more overall sustained boost to be applied throughout..

So in terms of the comparison, although a great effort in my mind of your loyalty to the King, it somewhat does not properly display what our motors could withstand from a design perspective..

The King is 05 SOHC 4.0..

I figured as much, but I put the post up thinking we could put our numbers on it, but didn't see a button to uplink our stats. Oh well, should have looked into it more before i kicked off a thread.
