Transport 66 Mustang advice
I'm moving to California and will be towing my 66 Mustang. I'm not totally complete with the restoration process and I get some water into the car (when washing it, I don't take it out in the rain) from a couple of specific areas that I know of. Anything I can do to seal up those areas temporarily for the trip in the event it rains? I was looking at some transport film wondering if that would work. I'd appreciate any advice My trouble areas on the car are the vent in front of the windshield and the trunk, of course.

I may be missing something but if you're towing it, couldn't you just get away with a high quality car cover and some bungie cords? Has to be cheaper than hiring somebody to move it.

Any kind of loose fitting cover will flap so much on a long trip it will self destruct before you get there. Simply use some duct tape and cover the cowl vents. And when you get established, fix that cowl! It's not complicated, just hard work. If you have a welder...

My 65 had the same problem, as do all 65/66 stangs. Temporarily tape the air vents behind the hood. The fresh air vents are prone to stopping up at the fenders where the drains are causing a buildup of water so it overflows into the air intake going to the floor interior. A kit is available that has taller tubes (raises the intake) and cleaning the drains while you have the fenders off solves the problem. DO NOT park under trees in the fall as leaves are a big contributor to the stopping up. Cleaning out debris with long-nose pliers or any grabbing device helps keep the problem at bay!
