trade or keep?

I have a 2010 Mustang V6 convertible with leather - performance white and stone. Bought it used last year and have 16k miles. Beautiful car. My local dealer has a 2012 Mustang V6 Pony Package convertible in performance white, black top, saddle leather. I am asking your opinions on my trading for the 12. Is the 12 a much improved car from the 10? What about the color combos on the 12? Thanks for your thoughts.

Welcome to TMS!
Motor is the biggest improvement. The new V6 puts out a little over 300HP. And gets good mpg's as well. If you haven't, go take that new one for a test drive. You'll see for yourself.

Like Hytek said the extra power was the main thing, if you are happy with what yours has theres no reason to trade up. Would also depend on how much of a loss you would take on the trade.

Welcome to TMS.

Be aware that the faclifted '13MY is about to appear at the LA show, so you may want to see what that looks like first then, either wait for those to show up at dealers around March next year, or get an even better deal on a '12MY

Are there any rebates/incentives in your area for new mustangs right now? Those might offset any loss you take on the trade, and might not be available next year. It might actually be worth it for you to trade up right now while you can still break even on the deal, and have a better mustang to boot. This is of course assuming you can break even on it.
